The 8391DWPE3 comes complete with metal gearing and rubber body protection, meaning the 8391 can withstand the harshest of working environments. The drill comes complete with it’s own Makita carry case so you can keep the main body and all associated drill peices together neat and tidy.  The drill runs on 3x 1.3Ah Ni-Cd Batteries (supplied), these can be fully charged within 30 minutes using the supplied ’super-charger’.

    P Harrison - yes the 8391DWPE3 can be used as a drill or driver. You’d simply change over to a driver attachment after you’ve drilled..

    Can the batteries for the 8391DWPE3 be used for the Makita cordless jigsaw 4334DZ 18V ?

    Yes Kevin, the batteries from the 8391DWPE3 will work in the 4334DZ 18V no problem. What’s more the 8391DWPE3 comes with 2 batteries in the box!
