The 5903RK is a circular saw that provides effortless cutting with all the safety and quality attributes that you would expect from a name like Makita.
The 5903RK comes complete with it’s own carry case as shown in the photograph below, carbide-tipped blade for increased cutting power (carbides are a compound composed of carbon and a less electronegative element. A hex wrench is also included for adjusting and fitting blades.

A fantastic tool for making straight cuts in wooden or manmade boards a circular saw is simply a must have if you’re doing lots of cutting. It will save you hours in comparison to a hand saw and used properly can give you a neater, straighter cut.
The Makita 5704RK has a blade speed of 4900RPM (that’s nice and fast to you and me, or more than 80 rotations per second for the boffins out there!)

The 5704RK comes complete with a spring loaded blade guard. This clever safety device covers the blade under the sole plate and flicks open automatically when you start to cut.
